Business Manager
Travis became involved in the landscape industry at a young age, mowing neighborhood yards in Northern KY to earn enough money to buy a truck. After he purchased the truck, Travis was able to expand his business outside of the neighborhood and continued to mow throughout most of his college career at the University of Kentucky.
After college, Travis was heavily involved in the beef cattle industry, helping found and expand his family’s consulting business which focused on assisting commercial cattle producers throughout the United States build more efficient and profitable cattle herds. When the business was sold, he entered the field of hi-precision measurement in the manufacturing industry, working for a global leader, Renishaw, Inc., as a Regional Sales Manager for six years. His responsibility was end-user sales and management of the distribution network for the automation, automotive and aerospace customers within his Midwest territory.
When Travis exited the corporate world, he found his way back to the green industry as the Business Developer for Klausing Group, a commercial grounds maintenance provider with offices in Lexington and Louisville, before transitioning to Business Manager at Pratt’s.
Travis and his wife Kate reside on their 25-acre horse farm (Mulberry Creek Farm) in Scott County with several horses and their two dogs, Bosco and Bindi.
